Carving at 15 yrs old and private study in sculpture was followed by art school and jobs in toy, cabinet, furniture and antique shops. Along the way there have been more than my share of excellent teachers, mentors and masters. I have been in galleries and shows around the West and been featured in publications and on television.
I have built many of my own tools, rebuilt my old machines and learned many skill sets in carving, hand planes, joinery, turning, furniture design and construction and finishing.
Hours, years and decades of experiments, projects, explorations and growth have developed into maturity in my craft. I offer my fourty years of experience in fine wood craftsmanship to bring that quality and character to your project.
