CAROLINE WARGO

Hi, my name is Caroline Therese Wargo and I have been an artist since I could hold a crayon. Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Art Institute of Boston, New England School of Art and Design, Boston Museum School of Fine Arts is where I have studied painting, drawing, and printmaking. Eventually, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona and continued to develop my painting while raising my two (now grown) children. Presently, I work in mostly acrylic and watercolors, and am experimenting with mixed media.

My work has been exhibited in galleries in Scottsdale and Carefree, the Herberger Theater in Tempe, the Shemer Art Center in Phoenix, and in the homes of private collectors.

I have received the honor of Artist of the Month, then Artist of the Year from the Scottsdale Artists' League in 2006, also, Best of Show in the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association (for a painting, not an animal).

I currently have a painting in the Shemer Museum's Holiday Highlights exhibit, and in March, I will be having a solo show at Pom Pom in Oldtown Scottsdale.
