Nan Hass Feldman
I am a painter and mixed-media artist. I have been a full-time artist and art instructor for over 45 years.
In that time I have had 50+ solo exhibitions, been included in over 50 group shows, and 28 museum exhibitions. Works included in: private collections in five countries; corporate collections such as Fidelity Investments, Meditech, and Veryfine Products; and in 19 hospital and healthcare facility collections, including Boston Children’s, Brigham and Womens, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.
I teach in three art museums in Massachusetts, run International Painting Workshops and The Artists Loft on a Cruise Ship twice a year.
My work is mostly based on Interior Spaces and Landscapes. These works, regardless of medium are colorful, playful, full of intricate design and pattern, bits of fantasy, complex, and joyful.
For me, art really is about enhancing and interpreting reality to create a more optimistic and joyous world.
