Carol Lukitsch

Cortez, Florida

Carol Taylor Lukitsch has exhibited in the U.S. and internationally in over 100 solo and group exhibitions. Nature and travel inspire her dynamic abstract paintings and mixed media works which reference passage, regeneration and hope. Working primarily in oil paint, she often works on panels which can be rearranged to meet spatial requirements. 

Ms. Lukitsch earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at The University of Maryland, College Park. She taught at the university level (including two years in Turkey on a Fulbright grant), has been a curator and a mentor to other artists. 

Her work is in numerous private and public collections including The National Museum of Women in the Arts; Washington, DC, The Museum of Contemporary Art; Montecatini, Italy, State Museum of Sculpture and Painting; Ankara, Turkey, The United States Embassy in Panama, and the law firms Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld; Washington, DC and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flum, Washington, DC where she was commissioned to do six paintings for a boardroom.
