My twenty years in the potters' has lead me to doing traditional and non traditional shapes and various design motifs with "raku" firing serving as the leading, most challenging, and gratifying influence.
My function stoneware work is admits a late decorative turn: an ode to the genius of Jackson Pollack, and it is as exciting a chapter as I have ever experienced working the mud.
And thanks to a dear friend and a world renowned potter, I am soon to begin a teaching life to open the vault of ceramics to middle and high school level ceramicist wantabes.
