I combine acrylics, black and white photography, and a wide range of colorful hand dyed silks and patterned fabrics to create a multidimensional view of the everyday world. A brief career in the interior design world as a drapery specialist gave me my first opportunity to incorporate fabrics from my workroom into my paintings.
I am currently working on translating my work to pigment ink on artist canvas (digigraphie standards), yet being true to the original in spirit, color and details. It is perfect for architects and interior designers in both public and private spaces.
The concept of an infinite number of ways to see beauty in the world still animates my art. In particular, the fusion of fabric and paints enables me to play with abstraction and realism. My work is not flat but round.
