I have been a painter all my life, and studied art at Boston
University. The inspirations for my realist acrylic landscapes are
wilderness and the natural world.
Frost Gully Gallery, Freeport, Maine, and Sherry French Gallery, New York
have held solo shows of my paintings, and my work has been included in museum shows "Masterworks from the International Guild of Realism;" “Representing Realism” Arnot Art Museum; “Contemporary
Realism Biennial,” Fort Wayne Museum of Art; Center for Maine
Contemporary Art Biennial; and “Annual Contemporary Realism”
shows at M.A. Doran Gallery. I received a
grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
My work was the subject of profiles in American Art Collector,
Maine Home & Design, and American Arts Quarterly;
and has been published in the books The Artist and the American
Landscape, Paintings of Maine, and others.
Corporate collections: McGraw-Hill Companies, Pierce Atwood
Attorneys, W.P. Stewart Asset Management, UNUM-Provident, Columbia
Presbyterian Hospital, and Milford-Whittinsville Hospital, and Percent for Art pieces in Maine.
