Below is Kristin's statement but I wanted to add my own personal note as I have watched Kristin working everyday in the studio next to mine in Framingham. She is extremely dedicated to her craft and determined every day to improve and gain insight. Her work continues to get better and better as she works intensely on each painting until it has reached a hight of perfection. I once asked Kristin what she wanted a year from that date and her answer was "to just get better at what I am doing" I loved her answer and wanted to share her enthusiasm with you an hope you will enjoy her efforts and read her statement below.

Joyce Creiger, Founder of ArtSpecifier.com

My interest in art started at a young age, and was influenced by the rich art scene of my native New Mexico. I enrolled in the fine arts program at New Mexico State University when I was 18. I'm a graduate of the Butera School of Art in Boston. I had the good fortune to spend much of my youth living, traveling and working in Mexico, East Africa, Brazil, Europe and the Caribbean. I've been employed as both a sign painter and commercial artist, and as of late became primarily an oil painter. Recurring subjects that interest me have been varied and include nature, fantasy, and people.
