I am a colorist and use the subject of landscape to connect memory to reality within the context of abstract mark-making. I paint exclusively in oil and have become known as a 'Colorist'. My work is characterized by lively gestural marks, heavy impasto and randomly scraped layers. I have earned national and international recognition for my landscape paintings including an invitation to exhibit at the esteemed Florence Biennale and calls to show at museums and universities throughout the country. My work continues to be eagerly sought by arts enthusiasts and can be found in prestigious private, public and corporate collections.
