Dariusz Romanowski is a contemporary artist who lives and works in London. His work reflects his ambition to make the technique of the painting and the idea inseparable and to push what can be achieved in terms of form with paint and materials. He works in a variety of styles and media but is particularly well known for creating landscapes in three dimensions in a form that plays with perspective, light and the texture of the paint itself.
This brings a heightened sense to his work and allows the viewer to go beyond looking at a flat surface but at something which has a combination of 2 and 3 dimensions. Natural light also plays a key part in his work, casting shadows and altering colours, changing the work continuously when viewed.
Dariusz has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in London, New York, Rome and Venice.
